Urban Farming-Maryland

I've visited my friend, Ms Arti two months ago. She and her husband have been doing urban farming for a year. They have small vegetable garden and composting piles. Her husband is being volunteer at Engaged Community Offshoots (ECO) farm, Prince George College. I attached some pictures that I took when I visited there.

Independence Day - Old Bethpage 4th July 2010.

I have participated in Independence Day Parade at Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Nassau County, NY. I was very pleasant and proud of being part in The most memorable American's celebration.
